Next meeting 14th July 2pm

We will be holding an outdoor meeting at Cherry Hinton Hall Gardens so that we can all meet safely and take the opportunity to chat.  We really hope that as many of you as possible will be able to attend.

Please bring a seat or something to sit on.   Refreshments will be provided.  We will assemble behind the car park and hope to have a blue “banner” with our logo CAMBRIDGE HEARTBEATS.

After a long period on Zoom we’re really looking forward to meeting members in person. The main focus of this meeting is social but our resident cardiac physiologist Kate Sanders will be attending and happy to chat and answer any technical ICD questions you may have.

Buddying

Would you be willing to offer friendly support based on your own experience to people who are about to have or newly had an ICD implant?

We are looking for two more volunteers so we can run our first training session which provides an introduction to listening skills and ground rules for buddying. This will be run by experienced committee member Hillary Linsey. Please see the buddy page or contact Hillary via email at cambridgeheartbeats@gmail.com for more information.

Arrhythmia Alliance affiliation

We are pleased to share that Cambridge Heartbeats is now affiliated with Arrhythmia Alliance.

Arrhythmia Alliance is a coalition of charities, patient groups, patients, carers, medical groups and allied professionals. Although these groups remain independent, they work together under the A-A umbrella to promote timely and effective diagnosis and treatment of arrhythmias.
